Injection-Molded PSU Components

PSU (Polysulfone) is a transparent high-performance polymer characterized by high heat deflection temperatures, excellent stiffness, and good dimensional stability. The material can be used continuously at temperatures of up to approx. 150 °C while maintaining its mechanical properties across a wide temperature range.

PSU is also hydrolysis resistant and suitable for repeated steam sterilization cycles. This makes the material particularly well suited for applications involving hot water or saturated steam. Compared to many standard thermoplastics, PSU offers higher stiffness and very good electrical insulation properties.

Typical applications for injection-molded PSU components include medical and laboratory technology, water and fluid handling systems, as well as electrical and electronic components.
