Design

Cost-efficient injection molding starts with the right design approach.

Before mold manufacturing begins, we support you in selecting suitable polymers and evaluate existing designs for their manufacturability. Our focus is on material selection, wall thickness optimization, parting lines, gating concepts, and tolerances. Through a comprehensive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) analysis, potential risks can be identified at an early stage, enabling the design of cost-optimized components with reliable processes for series production.

Mold Manufacturing

Precision and Fast Response Times Through In-House Toolmaking Capabilities.

Our in-house toolmaking enables us to produce high-precision molds through streamlined and well-established processes. Milling, turning, grinding, laser welding, EDM machining, wire cutting, coating, and heat treatment — we manage all critical manufacturing steps either within our own facility or in close collaboration with trusted local partners. This integrated approach ensures short lead times, maximum flexibility, and a fast response to maintenance requirements, repairs, and mold modifications — reducing production interruptions to a minimum.

Injection Molding

Repeatable Quality Independent of Material Selection.

Our machinery includes fully hydraulic, fully electric, and hybrid injection molding machines from ENGEL, ARBURG, and SUMITOMO-DEMAG, with clamping forces ranging from 35 to 250 tons. We process components with part weights from 0.03 to 800 grams. Depending on the mold concept, oil or water temperature cooling systems are used to ensure stable and consistent process conditions. Through robust manufacturing processes and precision mold technology, we achieve component tolerances down to 0.02 mm — even when processing demanding high-performance plastics.

Assembly

From Injection Molded Components to Fully Assembled Systems.

In addition to injection molding, we provide further processing steps up to fully assembled component groups. Our range of services includes ultrasonic welding, embossing, and printing of plastic components. By combining multiple manufacturing processes, we create efficient and streamlined production workflows — for low-volume batches as well as for high-volume series production thereby reducing assembly effort, logistical complexity, and the number of interfaces for our customers.

Quality

Quality Is Built Into the Process — And Verified During Final Inspection.

Quality assurance has always been the top priority at Peters Plastic and accompanies every step of the manufacturing process — from material approval and initial sampling through to series production. For us, quality means more than simply delivering flawless components; it means ensuring stable and controlled processes throughout production. For more than 25 years, we have operated according to a certified quality management system in compliance with ISO 9001, complemented by an environmental management system based on ISO 14001. State-of-the-art measurement technology, documented inspection procedures, and regular in-process controls ensure consistent and repeatable results. The close integration of mold manufacturing and production enables us to identify process deviations at an early stage and implement sustainable corrective measures.
