Fluoropolymers

Thermoplastic fluoropolymers are among the highest-performing materials used in injection molding for applications requiring exceptional chemical resistance, high-temperature stability, or extreme weather resistance. They are the material of choice for components that must deliver long-term reliability under the harshest operating and environmental conditions.

For more than three decades, Peters Plastic has specialized in processing fluoropolymers such as PFA, ETFE, and PVDF. Depending on the application requirements, reinforced, color-matched, or partially recycled material grades are used.

We produce custom injection-molded components with part weights from 0.1 g to 800 g, engineered for demanding applications in chemical processing, instrumentation, lightweight architectural systems and many other industries.

Polyetherketones

Polymers from the polyether ketone family, including their subgroup of polyaryletherketones (PAEK), are among the most temperature-resistant thermoplastic high-performance polymers. They are primarily used for components that must maintain their mechanical strength and dimensional stability even under continuous exposure to high temperatures.

We process a wide range of material grades, including glass-fiber reinforced and FDA-compliant variants of leading polyetherketone polymers such as PEEK and PEK.

Our components are used in various applications, including laboratory technology and the food processing industry, meeting tight tolerance requirements in accordance with ISO 20457.

Polyarylsulfones

Polyarylsulfones are high-strength, partially transparent thermoplastics that offer excellent electrical insulation properties, high hydrolysis resistance, and outstanding dimensional stability even at continuous operating temperatures of up to 150 °C. They are commonly used in applications where polycarbonate materials reach their performance limits.

Peters Plastic processes advanced polyarylsulfone materials such as PSU for components in measurement and control technology, as well as reinforced PES grades for highly stressed components in electrical engineering applications.

Customized Polymer Solutions

Beyond the materials described above, Peters Plastic processes a broad range of engineering plastics and high-performance polymers to meet diverse application requirements.

Through special additives, the performance of thermoplastics can be tailored to the requirements of every individual component. Glass-fiber reinforced polyamides (PA, PPA), for example, are widely used as lightweight metal alternatives, offering advantages in terms of weight reduction and cost efficiency. Flame-retardant additives can further enhance safety performance, allowing even non-inherently flame-retardant materials to meet demanding classifications such as UL 94 V-0.

Furthermore, color additives, UV stabilizers, lubricants, antistatic agents, and recycled materials can be used to customize polymer properties for the requirements of the final application.
